Europa League group stage draw: When do Arsenal, Spurs, Leicester, Celtic and Rangers learn fate?

The Europa League group stage draw will see the big hitters enter the competition following the qualifying stage with Arsenal, Spurs, Leicester, Celtic and Rangers among the 48 clubs.

Teams will be split into four seeded pots based on their European coefficient. Arsenal are the highest ranked team just ahead of Tottenham, while Celtic also squeeze into pot 1. Leicester are in pot 2 and Rangers are in pot 3.

Dangerous potential opponents for Leicester and Rangers include Roma, Napoli, Benfica and Bayer Leverkusen, while Arsenal, Spurs and Celtic could meet opposition like Braga, Gent, Sparta Prague, Real Sociedad and Feyenoord.

No team can play another club from their country in the group stage.

When is the Europa League draw?

The Europa League draw will take place on Friday 2 October in Nyon, Switzerland. It is scheduled to start around 12pm BST.
