Ortega stars in "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" as Astrid Deetz, the daughter of the first movie's protagonist, Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder). She goes on an adventure in the underworld with the help of the trickster Betelgeuse (Michael Keaton).

Ortega has been wearing pinstripe outfits in a subtle nod to the original movie.
