Former FHM model 2011 Lynn Tan beat 13 other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Singapore 2012 in the pageant final held at the Shangri-La hotel on Sunday evening.

The 24-year-old mergers and acquisition associate emerged the biggest winner of the night, bagging not just the coveted crown, but also three other titles – “Miss Body Beautiful”, “Miss Lumiere International 2012”, and “Miss Sensational Smile”.

Wearing a gorgeous red gown in the evening dress finale, the 1.7-metre-tall part-time model impressed the judges during the question-and-answer session.

When asked “As an ambassador for Singapore, what is your selling point?”, she replied without hesitation that she represents the “modern woman who is beautiful and strong” and “holds true values” that had brought her to where she is today.

Tan will now go on to represent Singapore in the 2012 Miss Universe finals in December.

Nowreen Khan, a 24-year-old business management student, was first runner-up while 23-year-old undergraduate Louissa Thomas finished second runner-up and also won "Best Legs".

Other finalists who made it to the top seven include Catherine Chua, 18, who bagged the “Miss Photogenic” title,  Sharmaine Toh, 23, Jasmine Seng, 18, and Michelle Qiu, 19, who won the “Miss MZ Visionary” category.

Joey Liu, 22, took home the title of “Miss Crowning Glory” for her hair while Goh Yi Ling, 19, bagged “Miss Personality” as being the liveliest, most fun and dedicated contestant.
