The fifth round of the FA Cup is almost upon us and with it come big changes to the world's oldest football competition.

Every tie across the fifth round will be played in midweek, commencing from Monday, March 2, with games level at 90 minutes being decided on the night via extra time or, if needed, penalties.

Replays have been scrapped from the fifth round onwards to alleviate fixture congestion, but these new measures have arrived not without controversy.

Come the conclusion of the fourth round, there will be 16 teams left in the hat.
