Faith Hill delighted fans by making an appearance at the 2022 CMT Music Awards in Nashville, Tenn. on Monday night.

Although she may be one of country music's biggest stars, Hill's recent appearance was the first time the star has attended the CMT Music Awards since 2010.

The 54-year-old singer was on hand to act as presenter for the final award of the night, Video Of The Year, which went to Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood for their duet, "If I Didn't Love You."

Prior to the awards ceremony, Hill hit the red carpet in a green long-sleeve sequinned gown by Naeem Kahn. Her brunette tresses were pulled into a sleek ponytail, and she also wore a dramatic smokey eye makeup look.

Hill's date for the evening wasn't her country singer husband of 26 years Tim McGraw, but her "1883" co-star Isabel May. Hill and May along with McGraw star in the "Yellowstone" limited series prequel.

Fans were pleased to see Hill back on the CMT red carpet and couldn't get enough of the "This Kiss" singer's latest look.

"Faith is queen," one person commented on a CMT Instagram post.

"I thought they were sisters," another said. "Faith looks younger every time I see her."

"Faith you look amazing," someone wrote.

The role, in which she stars opposite McGraw as his wife Margaret Dutton, was the first major acting project for Hill. Although she previously made appearances in the 2004 remake of "The Stepford Wives" and the 2017 independent film "Dixieland," Hill had never played a leading lady.

In a 2021 interview, Hill said the show's creator and writer, Tyler Sheridan, was the driving force behind her decision to star opposite her real-life husband.

"Tim and I have been approached to do things together on film before, but it needed to be many things [for us to say yes]," Hill. said. "And after reading the '1883' script it was just like, there's no way that we could ever pass this up."

Hill admitted to People that the role was difficult for her to take on since it involved some intimate scenes with McGraw on camera, including a scene where the two bathe together.

"It was really uncomfortable for me personally because I'm a very shy person in that type of situation," Hill said. "I obviously feel comfortable with my husband, but this is different. For intimate scenes, I feel like that belongs to us."
