Famed Singapore Airlines limited edition Mahjong set is now on sale so you don’t have to bargain with scalpers on Carousell

The popular limited edition Singapore Airlines-designed Mahjong set is now selling for half off online.

The game set, which was all snatched up each time it is released, is now available on the airlines’ online store KrisShop for S$194, half of its original S$388 price tag.

This particular set is in a forest green shade which was released back in early 2022. Its previous edition came in dark blue.

Both feature the tiles in the airlines’ batik motif, with some special characters replacing some tiles such as incorporating the Airbus A380 aircraft into a character suit, the bamboo suit as runway lights, and a luggage used for the white board tile.

The set can also be purchased with 24,250 Singapore Airlines miles.

It is not known why the sets were given a discount now but it sure is cheaper than those sold by scalpers on Carousell for over S$500.

Singaporeans are suckers for anything ‘limited edition’. Just last month, many were invested in getting a Big Mac lunchbox from McDonald’s – and as expected, you can find it on Carousell for ridiculous prices.
