Fann Wong invited to attend "Asia Song Festival 2012"
15 Jul - Singaporean artiste Fann Wong has been invited to attend the "Asia Song Festival 2012" taking place in South Korea this 4 August.
According to the official website, Fann Wong will be the Singaporean representative this year. The other attendees include Korean singer Kim Hyun-Joong, Korean pop group ZE:A and Taiwan representative Yoga Lim.
Soon after the 41-year-old actress confirmed her attendance, she urged her fans to support her during the event by posting a message on her Weibo page.
However, this has raised the question of the singer's identity. Some Weibo Netizens were surprised that she was invited to the event even though she is more like an actress than a singer.
According to Omy.sg, some local Netizens commented that she is not qualified to attend the festival. "What?! We do have a lot of local singers such as JJ Lin, Stefanie Sun or Tanya Chua. Why her?", Netizens wrote.
