Will Lukakau break his four-game scoreless domestic run this week against a struggling Newcastle?

Manchester City have taken an eight point lead over their city rivals and Mourinho will have to let the horses run freely if he wants to try and close this gap. Lukaku’s output has been blunted in recent weeks as Mourinho was focused on not losing agains his top-six rivals. Big Rom showed how sharp he still is with goals over the international break.

Yes, Lukaku is a flat-track bully and these are the kinds of teams he finds his range against. Those blanks have come against three top teams in which Mourinho has played relatively negative tactics and Lukaku has suffered as a result. Back to scoring ways for the Belgian brute.

Yes, I think Lukaku could be back to his best, those goals on international break will have done his confidence the world of good. Also Pogba’s potential return will make a huge difference to the Utd attack.

Will a stubborn Baggies defence be able to force a shutout at home to Chelsea?

No, the Baggies have conceded five in their past two home games and Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard will have plenty of room to manoeuvre in West Brom’s half as Tony Pulis will deploy his 10 outfield men along the penalty box.

No. WBA are struggling at the moment and haven’t kept a clean sheet in the last six games in the Premier League. Chelsea will be high on morale after a massive win against Mourinho’s United. Morata and Hazard are in form and they have a world-class playmaker in Fabregas pulling the strings. This should be enough to break the WBA defence down.

No I don’t think so. West Brom are not a great side and their key players have had hard games on international duty especially the Irish contingent whilst Morata played only 45 minutes so should be fresh.

Which player will accumulate the most fantasy points this week?

I see no reason why Manchester City will not blast past another team in Gameweek 12. They have scored 16 goals in their last four league games. The problem is picking the right player from their lineup. Sane has scored and assisted in three of his last four league games and has started the last 10 games.

Sane is up against a team that, despite recruiting a more defensive minded manager, still concede goals and wont be any match for Pep’s free scoring City. The German winger has 61.9 Yahoo points and 36 FPL points in his last four Gameweeks and after a blank last week, I’m backing him to return to the points this week with a brace.

If he plays I expect Dele Ali to explode

Leroy Sane has a goal and an assist in three of his last four league games.

Wilfred Zaha has been Palace’s standout player since returning from injury , will he produce an attacking return or can relegation threatened Everton contain him?

Zaha missed a sitter against Spurs, which could have given him his third goal in four games. Without it, he’s still scored two in four which is a great return for his price (£17 Yahoo, £6.8m FPL). Everton have not kept a clean sheet since Gameweek 1. When Everton concede, expect to see Zaha’s name on the scoresheet.

Zaha really should have scored against Spurs and if he can carve out an opening for himself like that, I can’t forsee him having any issue breaking down an Everton side that have let in 22 goals so far.

Everton are all over the place and had an element of good fortune in the win vs Watford. Palace are getting better every week and with RLC back after an impressive few games for England they could get a crucial win vs Everton with Zaha providing a goal or an assist.

This season Harry Kane’s blank weeks have generally been followed by a big attacking return, can the hit man repeat the pattern this week and get back to scoring ways in the North London derby?

Harry Kane has always managed to score in the North London Derby and he has scored a brace in both of his early kickoffs this season. Combined together he’s either going to score a hat-trick or they will cancel each other out.

Yes I think he will. His attacking returns have come in the form of four braces so far this year, whilst I do think he will score again, as he loves to do against Arsenal, I can’t see much beyond that.

I just can’t see Spurs not scoring and Kane is the main man to get those goals.

Man City play this weekend which means inevitable Pep rotation, which City assets will be rested if any?

Sergio Aguero has been declared perfect by the Manchester City doctors for the weekend. Raheem Sterling has also been cleared to play after a small back complaint. Manchester City do welcome Feyenoord to Manchester in the Champions League in midweek, the perfect opportunity for Pep Guardiola to give the fringe players a run-out. I expect the usual rabble to start on Saturday. But if Pep does make any changes, you can change your team on Yahoo fantasy all the way until kick-off.

I think given the nature of Agüero’s recent situation (him fainting), I think it would be wise of City’s medical team to leave him out of this one just to make 100% sure there’s no underlying problems – I believe he will be rested, but no-one else. Sane left, Jesus upfront and Sterling right with the usual cast of KDB, Silva and Fernandinho operating in midfield.

Aguero may be the one to be rested after passing out at half time on international duty.

Bournemouth seem to have turned a corner after securing a late win at St James’s park last week, which player will stand out for them at home to Huddersfield if any?

Charlie Daniels has been playing higher up the field for the Cherries as a LWB and could profit against newly promoted Huddersfield.

If he’s declared fit, then Joshua King. If not, then I’ll go with Defoe to return to form this weekend. He hasn’t been great this season, but he’s a natural goalscorer and that ability doesn’t simply disappear, he’s still got it and will find form eventually. I’m backing it to be this weekend.

It may be time for Josh King to step up and see if he can get Southgate’s attention for the World Cup.

Which high profile premium player will fail to live up to expectations?

Mesut Ozil will fail to do anything against the highly organised Spurs backline.

Christian Eriksen. Despite it being a hugely positive night for Denmark mid-week with their World Cup qualification and Eriksen’s brilliant hat-trick, I think that was an emotionally draining game for Eriksen and going from one emotionally draining game to another, might just have an adverse effect on him.

I will go for Alexis Sanchez; it hasn’t happened for arsenals key man this year and I expect that to continue against a confident Spurs side.

Budget Watford midfielder Richarlison has an attractive home fixture against West Ham whilst premium option Mohamed Salah has a home tie to a stubborn Saint’s team, which player will score most points?

Salah has been the most consistent fantasy player this year, failing to return in just one game that he has played 45+ minutes. Richarlison has struggled to return at home for one reason or another so Salah will outscore him this week.

I have a strong feeling that Saints will keep the score low when they turn up to Anfield, but saying that, Salah just seems to keep on giving and has shown remarkable consistency since re-joining the Premier League and he really is the man-of-the-moment. They may only get one, but it really wouldn’t surprise me, given his form, if that goal is for Salah. So, I’m going with Salah, as Moyes will really try to sort the defence out and Richarlison predominantly does his business away from home.

Salah is the man of the moment but Saints have a good record at Anfield gut says Richarlison head says Salah so I will go Salah

Can Mohamed Salah score his eighth goal of the season in just his 11th start in the league?

Which drink is going to accompany you through this game week?

Some ‘Meead’ in the hope that it will help my latest FPL asset score more points for my team.
