The Fantasy Premier League has revealed initial prices for some of its star picks ahead of the 2020-21 FPL season.

Kevin De Bruyne, who scored the most FPL points last season with a total haul of 251, will be priced at £11.5m for the new campaign, the same price as his Manchester City midfield teammate Raheem Sterling, which may force managers into a tricky decision of which one to select.

Liverpool’s two big hitters, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, both come in at a hefty £12m, but remain categorised as midfielders which will ensure they continue to pick up extra points for clean sheets and goals scored compared to their teammate Roberto Firmino.

Manchester United’s blockbuster January signing Bruno Fernandes shook up the FPL standings with several big points hauls during the latter stages of the season, and having arrived at £8m he will now cost £10.5m at the start of the new campaign – still a tempting price.

The Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope was the best value-for-money buy in 2019-20 after delivering 170 points from a starting cost of only £4.5m. Unsurprisingly his starting price has shot up to £5.5m, making him one of the more expensive keepers in the game and a harder pick to justify.

FPL managers will be able to begin picking their 15-man squad with a value of up to £100m once the new season officially launches, which is expected to be live next week ahead of the Premier League’s start on 12 September.
