Farid Kamil to end contract with MIG

The actor is set to end his contract with MIG after working under the company for seventeen years


Farid Kamil wants to focus more on directing and producing.

26 Nov – Actor and director Farid Kamil has admitted that he is set to end his contract with Metrowealth International Group (MIG) soon.

The actor, who has been under the company's management for seventeen long years, said, "It is now time for me to be on my own."

"However, I still need guidance from them and we may also work together in the future," he added.

The "Anak Jantan" actor said that his decision to leave MIG was a correct choice to make, according to mStar, as he wants to further expand his own career by producing his own movie under his company, Skygate One Sdn Bhd.

He also revealed that he now wants to concentrate more on directing and producing.

When asked about his newborn daughter, Farid expressed his happiness and gratitude for the addition of a new family member.

The 34-year-old and his wife, Diana Danielle, have named their daughter Nur Aurora.

The actor is set to appear next in Osman Ali's "Langit Cinta", opening in cinemas next year.
