Ludhiana (Punjab), Oct 10 (ANI): Despite the ban on stubble burning, farmers in Ludhiana were seen burning crop residue in Chehla village, Ludhiana. District Administration had said that machines have been distributed free of cost to farmers to tackle stubble burning. Burning of crop remains a worrying issue which causes air pollution.Farmers set their fields on fire to clear them of crop residue left behind after harvesting paddy and before cultivating wheat and potato.
