Fei Yu-ching keeps fans' gifts
7 May – Although Taiwanese singer Fei Yu-ching's fans are mostly older women, he cherishes the gifts they give him so much that he has kept them for 20 years!
While no stranger to performing in Singapore, this will be his first Mother's Day concert in here for Mother's Day this Sunday.
Fei, who debuted in the entertainment industry 40 years ago, is a well-known singer and host, particularly famed for his pristine, soaring vocals. His clean-cut looks have gained him a large female following, many of whom are already mothers with grown children.
The 57-year-old singer says, "I've always had more female fans than male fans. I think my songs appeal to women more because the lyrics tend to be more emotional and sensitive."
