Make your summer more meaningful by spending your time helping others. Look for volunteer groups within your area that you’d like to be a part of—like Muni PH, CARA Welfare Philippines, WWF, and more! It’s definitely better than wasting your days away watching Netflix shows or playing games on your computer.

Think of it as motivation to start cleaning your room, like what your mom keeps nagging you to do. Set aside all the clothes, accessories, toys, and every other pre-loved item you have and sell them on online shops like Shopee or Lazada, or at your own garage sale. Not only will you rid your room of unnecessary clutter, but you’ll be earning from them too!

If you don’t have a garden in your house, then it’s time to start building one! It’s relaxing to grow and tend to plants once you get the hang of it, and it’s a nice routine to follow every day. If you don’t have a front or backyard, then creating an indoor garden is just as fine, if not even more exciting to do because you can also spend time decorating your little green space.
