Firefighters rescued victims of flash flooding in Kuwait on Wednesday, November 14.

These videos, captured by members of the Gulf state’s fire service, show fire crews taking people to safety in and around Kuwait City. In one clip, a firefighter gives a piggyback to a man, who became stranded after floodwaters submerged his car.

The Ministry of the Interior warned residents to stay indoors due to the heavy rainfall, the Arab Times reported. The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) suspended work at all of its companies on Wednesday, according to Reuters.
