First trailer date unveiled for 'Fast & Furious 8' in cast letter

The "Fast & Furious 8" cast has shared a message thanking their crew and fans for their support during the production of the forthcoming installment of the franchise, their first communication following the tragic death of star actor Paul Walker.

The message, posted via Facebook, also showed a group photo with the cast, along with an announcement revealing December as the month for the first "Fast and Furious 8" trailer drop, ahead of the film's slated release in theaters on April 14, 2017.

"Fast & Furious 8" which stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren among others, is wrapping up its final days of production, and is directed by F. Gary Gray, with Diesel also serving as a producer on the feature.

The Facebook message also highlighted Cuba, Iceland, New York and Atlanta as locations visited during the filming of "Fast & Furious 8" (via Collider).
