Flora Chan produces education-themed talk show
14 Dec – Hong Kong actress Flora Chan recently revealed that her new education-themed talk show, "After School" is set to air some time next year.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the press conference alongside husband Mike Chung recently, shared that the upcoming programme will have 16 episodes in total and will feature various guests from different generations, including Charlie Yeung, Francis Ng, and Michael Wong.
Said Flora, she conceived the idea for the show two years ago, and that she will also share the two transitions in her life in some of the episodes - the time when she had her daughter, and the time when she decided to go back to school.
"When my daughter turned five, she used the iPad to do her homework. I was clueless about it all at the time. In order to avoid being out of touch with the outside world, I decided to do my Master's degree," she said.
Flora also admitted that she was inspired by parents and teachers who share experiences with her, which makes her want to understand education and the pressures everyone faces when it comes to the subject.
