On Friday, the highly-anticipated and probably most-talked about film of the year, Don't Worry Darling hit cinemas. Florence Pugh, who plays the lead role of Alice, alongside Harry Styles as her husband Jack, took to Instagram to celebrate the film's release, expressing how grateful she was to be a part of the whole experience.

Sharing BTS snaps of different sets, locations, and cast members - including a shot of her and director Olivia Wilde in character - (ICYMI, there's been some speculation of tension between the two) the 26-year-old wrote, "It's here.. and ready to be seen. @dontworrydarling is in cinemas! We met so many talented people, visited some insane locations, worked hard in the desert dust and looked good whilst doing so." To which she then thanked the glam team, "(Thanks to @hebathormakeup and @jaimeleigh.hair and @ariannephillips)."

The actress then went on to thank the viewers, writing "all those who have bought tickets and those who have already seen it," before talking about the immense lengths that actually go into making a film.

"Whenever I watch massive impressive movie moments on massive screens I always remind myself that there is a boom just inches from the frame I'm watching," she said. "Or marks on the floor just below the actors waists. It's crazy to think that each set up and scene takes a large portion of a day to execute, and on this one.. there was a lot to execute! Explosions, car chases, cocktail balancing, underwater sequences, running, drinking, more running.."

Adding that she "will always be grateful" to have been able to take part in such an "epic story on such a large scale to shoot, all while during peak Covid times," Pugh ended her emotional tribute with, "To all of you who helped make this, your dedication and love was seen daily - thank you."
