Fnatic team director for SEA Eric Khor steps down

Renowned international organisation Fnatic announced on Tuesday (30 November) that Eric "ReiNNNN" Khor, their team manager and director for Southeast Asia, has stepped down from his position after six years with the organisation.

Khor joined Fnatic back in 2015 and helped the organisation's Southeast Asian Dota 2 team flourish into a perennial powerhouse in the region.

Under his direction, Fnatic Dota 2 competed in a total of 12 Majors and qualified for The International (TI) in six-straight years from 2015 to 2021, even finishing TI6 in 4th place.

Khor has also helped Fnatic gather some of the biggest names in Southeast Asia under its banner.

During his six-year tenure with the organisation, Fnatic has listed the likes of Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung, Djardel "DJ" Mampusti, Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng, Marc Polo "Raven" Fausto, Abed "Abed" Yusop, Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang, Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong, and Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon, among others, in their rosters.

"We would like to thank [Eric Khor] for his dedication and hard work for over six years with Fnatic in SEA. Under his stewardship, Fnatic's presence in Dota has produced truly memorable and historic moments... With six consecutive TI appearances and countless other LANs, Eric's dedication, guidance and vision shaped what Fnatic has become in SEA," Fnatic said in a statement on their Dota 2 team's official Facebook page.

"Not known to many, his passion for Dota reach all the way to multiple organizations in the industry. Always extending help whenever needed, his unrelenting efforts go beyond his duty with us contributing to the growth of our region."

Khor will be replaced by Paolo "KTM" Bago as Fnatic Dota 2's team director. Bago previously served as the team's analyst and coach in 2019 and as their performance coach for TI10.
