Forett at Bukit Timah, a 633-unit condominium project along Toh Tuck Road in District 21, will be launched for sales on 8 August (Saturday).

To ensure the health and safety of visitors, developers Qingjian Realty (South Pacific) Group and Perennial Real Estate Holdings decided to hold the balloting and booking process for the freehold project entirely online via teleconference.

The Virtual Booking Day, which will be hosted by veteran artiste Irene Ang, will also be livestreamed on the project’s Facebook page.

“While we are unable to meet homebuyers in person on booking day, we thought hard about how we could keep homebuyers engaged and involved throughout their homebuying experience,” said Yen Chong, Deputy General Manager at Qingjian Realty.

“This could be as simple as having homebuyers personally drop their tickets into the ballot box when they visit the Forett Sales Gallery – something typically done by sales agents. We even engaged professionals who can captivate audiences to run the show on the Virtual Booking Day. We want homebuyers to feel the same level of excitement that they do at our sales launches as buying a home is a big moment.”

Aside from interactive segments, the online session will also feature a “thinking box”, which is a virtual space that buyers can enter to deliberate things over before deciding on a purchase.

The first large-scale project to launch under Phase 2 reopening of Singapore’s economy, the freehold project opened its sales gallery on 25 July, with safe management measures in place.
