Former Queer Eye star Bobby Berk hits out at Netflix
Former Queer Eye star Bobby Berk has hit out at Netflix after his profile icon appears to have been removed from the streamer.
Netflix revealed its new icons for the reality series earlier this month on Instagram, with fans now able to choose from Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, Tan France and season nine newcomer Jeremiah Brent.
Berk, who left the show last year, took to the comments section to share his disapproval at his icon being "erased" from the line-up.
"Wow... Y'all really went and erased my icon instead of just adding Jeremiah? Damn. I'm done," he wrote, according to a screenshot shared on Reddit. The comment has since been deleted and neither Netflix or the rest of the Queer Eye cast have publicly responded.

A reboot of the original 2003 series of the same name, Queer Eye sees a group of experts spend a week using their own area of expertise to help improve the life of a weekly 'hero'.
Berk had been a part of the show since season one, bringing his expert knowledge of interior design and home organisation to the group.
He confirmed his exit in 2023, ahead of season eight landing on the streamer.
"It's with a heavy heart that I announce that season eight will be my final season on Queer Eye," Berk wrote on Instagram at the time. "It's not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but a necessary one."

Speculation about the reason behind Berk's decision to leave soon began to circulate, with rumours of a rift between the cast.
In an interview with Vanity Fair in January 2024, Berk explained that he had decided not to sign a new contract and that his castmates had been considering doing the same. However, his four co-stars eventually all went ahead and signed up for new episodes.
"There were definitely emotions. But each one of us had our reasons why we did what we did," Berk said. "I can't be mad – for a second I was. All the plans that I had made when I thought we weren't coming back, I just wasn't willing to change those... We had mentally just prepared ourselves to move on – that's why I left."
Queer Eye airs on Netflix.
