FoundOnEdgeProp: 3-bedroom condos near international schools for under $5,000/month

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - At the time of writing, there were 330 listings on EdgeProp for three-bedroom condominium units with asking monthly rents of $5,000 and below. A number of these listings are for condominiums in close proximity to international schools, which might appeal to tenants whose children are attending such schools.

Three-bedroom units near the Singapore American School

Casablanca is a 478-unit condominium located along Rosewood Drive. The development is located within walking distance of the Singapore Sports School, the Woodlands Civic Centre, and the Woodlands Regional Library, while the Singapore American School, Marsiling Mall, and Causeway Point are a short drive away. The condominium is also about 700m away from Woodlands MRT Station, which is an interchange station connecting the North-South Line and the Thomson-East Coast Line.


 

At the time of writing, there were two listings for Casablanca with asking rents of under $5,000 per month. The listing with the lower asking rent of $4,500 per month is for a fully furnished mid-floor unit with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The other listing is for an unfurnished unit of a similar size but with a slightly higher asking price of $4,600 per month because it is on a high floor.

There was also a listing for Rosewood Suites, which is located just beside Casablanca. (see Map 1). Rosewood Suites is a 200-unit development that obtained temporary occupation permit (TOP) in 2011, six years after Casablanca (TOP in 2005).

The listing for Rosewood Suites is for an unfurnished ground floor unit with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The asking rent for the unit is $4,500 per month. Despite having the same number of bedrooms and bathrooms as the listings for Casablanca, the unit at Rosewood Suites is larger at 1,575 sq ft, while the listings for Casablanca are for units that are just under 1,200 sq ft.

Choices galore for tenants seeking to live near Overseas Family School

Coco Palms is a 944-unit development located along Pasir Ris Grove. The Overseas Family School, Pasir Ris MRT Station, White Sands, Elias Mall, and the upcoming Pasir Ris Mall are within a 1km radius of this condominium.


 

At the time of writing, there were two rental listings for Coco Palms. Both listings are for partially furnished units with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Although both listings have an asking rent of $5,000 per month, one listing is for a mid-floor unit, while the other listing is for a high-floor unit.

There were six listings for NV Residences, which is a 642-unit development located across the road from Coco Palms. (see Map 2). NV Residences obtained TOP in 2013, five years before Coco Palms (TOP in 2018).

The listing with the lowest asking rent of $4,898 per month is for a partially furnished mid-floor unit with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The listing with the highest asking rent of $4,950 per month is for a fully furnished unit with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. However, the slightly larger unit is on a low floor.

Surrounded by amenities including the International French School

Tenants who wish to balance proximity to an international school with other conveniences should consider The Greenwich. The 319-unit mixed development is located along Seletar Road and obtained TOP in 2014.

Greenwich V, which is the retail component of the mixed development, has CS Fresh as its anchor tenant. Other nearby amenities include The Seletar Mall and Fernvale LRT Station. The International French School is within a 2km radius.


 

The sole listing for The Greenwich is for an unfurnished unit with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The high-floor unit has an asking rent of $4,800 per month.

Live near Chinese Garden MRT Station and the Canadian International School

Parc Oasis is a 950-unit condominium located across the road from the Chinese Garden MRT Station. Other amenities within a 1km radius include the Canadian International School (Lakeside Campus), Yuhua Village Market and Food Centre, Jurong Lake, Jurong East Stadium, and the Pan Island Expressway.


 

At the time of writing, Parc Oasis had two rental listings. Both are for fully furnished units with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. One is for a high-floor unit with an asking rent of $4,800 per month, while the other listing is for a low-floor unit with an asking rent of $5,000 per month.

The Mayfair is located across the road from Parc Oasis. (see Map 4). The development has 452 units and obtained TOP in 2000, thus making it six years younger than Parc Oasis (TOP in 1994). However, The Mayfair is a longer walk from the Chinese Garden MRT Station.

At the time of writing, there was a listing in The Mayfair for a unit with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The high-floor unit is partially furnished and has an asking rent of $5,000 per month.
