The six main actors of the series returned to Stage 24 at Warner Bros studios, where they filmed the show for 10 years, to record the special.
They will be joined by former co-stars including Tom Selleck, Reese Witherspoon and Elliot Gould as well as famous fans like David Beckham, Lady Gaga and Malala Yousafzai.
A trailer for the special was released last week, showing the six stars walking around the studios, taking part in a table read and doing a trivia game reminiscent of the contest the gang competed in for the show's fourth season as the characters competed for Monica's apartment.
James Corden will host the reunion and was seen in the trailer asking the stars about the show's most contentious issue: “Were Ross and Rachel on a break?”
While Aniston, Perry, Cox and Kudrow all answered "yes", LeBlanc declared it was: "Bulls***".
