Fulham will look to get points on the board when they host Aston Villa in the Premier League this evening.

Scott Parker's side have endured a difficult return to the top-flight, thrashed by Arsenal on opening weekend before coming out on the wrong side of a seven-goal thriller against fellow newly-promoted outfit Leeds at Elland Road.

Fulham did see off Championship Sheffield Wednesday in the Carabao Cup in midweek and will hope to follow up that first win of the season against an Aston Villa side that escaped relegation on the final day last term.

Dean Smith's men travel to Craven Cottage sitting in mid-table after beginning 2020-21 with a narrow win over Sheffield United that was sandwiched between cup triumphs over EFL opposition in Burton Albion and Bristol City.

Fulham vs Aston Villa is scheduled for a 5:45pm BST kick-off on Monday, September 28.

This match will be played behind closed doors at Craven Cottage with no fans due to be present due to government guidelines regarding coronavirus.

Parker is expecting to have a fully-fit squad to choose from for the visit of Aston Villa, with Anthony Knockaert pushing to start after scoring in the midweek win over Sheffield Wednesday.

"I think we’re all good,” said the Fulham boss.

“There are no injuries as such, just the general management of the squad and players really. We’re at full strength.”

For Villa, Tom Heaton, Bjorn Engels and Wesley are all sidelined, but former Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore could make his first Premier League start for the club after impressing against Bristol City.
