Full Card Revealed For ONE: BATTLEGROUND
ONE Championship will return at the end of this month with another explosive lineup of martial arts action featuring the organization’s top strikers and brightest stars.
ONE: BATTLEGROUND will broadcast live on Friday, 30 July, and pit two striking superstars against each other in the main event.
In the show’s headliner, two-sport ONE World Champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao will defend his ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title against organizational newcomer Prajanchai PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym.
It’ll be the second time that Sam-A defends his belt since winning it in 2020, and against Prajanchai, he’ll be knee-deep in a battle of experience, as both men have over 800 combined fights.
Ushering in the main event will be a clash between two top middleweight mixed martial artists.
Former ONE Middleweight World Champion Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang will meet Leandro “Wolf” Ataides in a clash that could see the winner challenge for a World Title.
Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat will also return the Circle against Lin “MMA Sister” Heqin. Phogat will try to prove that her previous loss to Bi “Killer Bee” Nguyen was just a fluke, while Lin will look to hand the Indian wresting sensation turned mixed martial artist her second pro defeat.
Victoria “The Prodigy” Lee is also making her much-anticipated return to the ONE Circle against Wang Luping, while two of the best featherweight strikers in Sitthichai “Killer Kid” Sitsongpeenong and Tayfun “Turbine” Ozcan will tussle in ONE Super Series kickboxing.
