Gallen Lo's new MV well-received

29 Dec – Within a month of its release, actor Gallen Lo's "Runnin' Out of Time" has seen more than 50 million hits, according to Jayne Stars.

The song is written as the theme for the mini movie, "The Travel Of Memory", and the emotional ballad sees the 50-year old actor playing a melancholic man revisiting his past memories as he is losing them.

The mini movie itself touches on the subject of family love. It describes how a successful businessman, who on the verge of losing his memory, recalled his life and realized too late that "One's true happiness stems from spending time with the family. A family's happiness is dependable on the time spent together".

"The Travel Of Memory" is directed by cutting-edge Taiwanese director, Jem Chen, and produced by renowned French photographer Dylan Doyle while top composer Jia Yinan created the music score.

Before Gallen became famous for his roles on television, he was first and foremost a singer. He first gained success not through his roles in television series but as the voice behind ATV's theme songs in the 1980s.

He also earned back-to-back Double Platinum Record Awards for the theme songs for "Old Time Buddy" and "Secret Of The Heart", dramas which he also starred in.
