An actor who starred in multiple roles on the hit TV series Game of Thrones has died.
Andrew Dunbar, who was featured on the show in seasons six, seven and eight, “died suddenly” in his home in Belfast, Ireland, on Christmas Eve, Belfast Live reports.
A spokesperson for The Extras Department, an agency for acting extras in Ireland, confirmed Dunbar’s death to Belfast Live. He was in his 30s.
Friend and co-star Andy McClay told the publication there was “something about him that was special”.
“‘People always felt good around him, happy, excited for the day’s work and there was always a lot of fun when he was around,” McClay told Belfast Live.
Dunbar was Alfie Allen’s body double for the character Theon Greyjoy.
He was also featured as an extra in the Game of Thrones episode Battle of the B*******, which received widespread critical acclaim.
