Gemma Collins says she won't return to 'bland' panel show 'Loose Women'

Gemma Collins has said she won't be returning to Loose Women any time soon and suggested the programme "needs a good shake-up".

The reality TV personality told The Sun she would "absolutely not" join the ITV daytime show's panel again while it exists in its current form.

She said: "I love the Loose Women, but I find that the show needs a good shake-up.

"I think it is a bit bland. I love all of them individually, but yeah, it’s bland. It’s not for me, hun."

Collins has made vows not to appear on the show in the past, calling it "boring" after a 2018 interview and accusing the panellists of being "rude" to her.

The star has popped up elsewhere on the ITV morning line-up, taking on a role as entertainment correspondent on Good Morning Britain for a period in 2019.

She returned to Loose Women last year for an interview conducted remotely, which was troubled by technical difficulties involving her camera.

During the 2020 chat, she made candid revolutions about her struggles with polycystic ovary syndrome and the miscarriage she suffered during lockdown.

Collins has revealed she is trying for a baby once again with her on-off partner Rami Hawash, to whom she was previously engaged in 2013.

The former TOWIE cast member said her baby will be "like royalty" given how long she has been trying to become a mother.

Meanwhile, Collins is set to explore a different side of her life in a new documentary, in which she will candidly discuss her struggles with mental health and self-harm.

Gemma Collins: Self Harm & Me is set to air on Channel 4 in the near future and has been produced with the assistance of mental health charity Mind.
