Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson has finally married The X Factor star Casey Johnson after their wedding was initially postponed.

The pair have been together since 2017 and share two children, Rox and Oax. But they had to delay their wedding following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, the couple revealed they have finally tied the knot, though they didn't reveal the date or location of the ceremony.

Upon the birth of Oax back in May, Marnie said on her Instagram Stories: "So guys, baby boy has arrived. I can't even begin to explain how obsessed we are with him. He is just perfect.

"What a different experience that was compared to the birth of Rox, which I'm very grateful for. I can't wait to show you him, but I feel like me and Casey have chosen to just wait a little bit because we just want to enjoy him ourselves for a little while."

Marnie debuted on Geordie Shore in 2011 before becoming a regular cast member in 2013, appearing on the show for five years before exiting.

Last year saw the show celebrate its 10-year anniversary by filming The Reunion Series, which featured past stars returning to the show.

Recently, there were rumours that the show was due to be axed, but MTV denied these reports with a statement last month.

"Geordie Shore has not been cancelled and continues to be one of MTV's biggest shows. We can't wait for fans to see what we have in store next season," said an official spokesperson.

As well as Geordie Shore, Marnie has also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and Ex on the Beach. Casey auditioned for The X Factor in 2014.
