George Ezra, who probably won't be riding shotgun underneath the hot sun this summer, has apparently split from his girlfriend of three years.

According to reports, George and British singer Florrie, real name Florence Arnold, have gone their separate ways after starting a romance in 2017. While it's not clear why the couple split, they'd been living together in London until Florrie moved out recently when they ended their relationship.

"They split up a few months ago but it was amicable and they remain on good terms," a source told The Sun. "It’s not been an easy time, especially with everything else going on in the world. But George is keeping his head down and finding the positives in everything that has happened."

While it's not clear why George, 26, and Florrie, 31, split, the 'Shotgun' singer recently opened up on his Phone A Friend podcast about how he was finding social isolation. "It’s just made it obvious to me how much I rely on human contact," he explained. "I felt it sneaking in. It was like, 'What’s that? Oh you feel a bit alone'."

Speaking in April 2018 about his second album Staying At Tamara's, George explained (via The Sun): "Three months or four months before the last record was completely wrapped up, I met my now-girlfriend. The timing was brilliant because we actually got to spend time together and go on a few dates.

"I live with my girlfriend, who is a songwriter. It’s not easy on tour. We have special nights out to catch up."

Here's to hoping both parties are doing OK following the split.
