Serge Gnabry may have made a big move to Bayern Munich this summer, but the Germany U21 star has not forgotten the good old days with Hector Bellerin at Arsenal.

Ahead of Friday's European Under-21 Championship Final - between Bellerin's Spain and Gnabry's Germany - the former posted a picture of the pair in their Arsenal training gear back in 2015 with the hashtag #TBT (Throwback Thursday).

The duo came up through the Gunners' youth ranks together, featuring for the U19s and U21s before breaking into the senior squad.

But while Bellerin enjoyed a quick rise to success at right-back, Gnabry struggled to make an impression on loan at West Brom before making a permanent switch to Werder Bremen last summer.

The midfielder's impressive form for club and country - scoring eight league goals and making his full Germany debut - earned him a transfer to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich this summer.

Following on from Bellerin's tweet about Friday's upcoming U21s Final, Gnabry posted a message of his own with a picture of the pair celebrating one of Arsenal's recent FA Cup triumphs.

But Gnabry's message came with the warning that one of them will be left disappointed by the result, writing: "Only one of us can get his hands on the cup this time, looking forward to face you."

Gnabry's move from Bremen to Bayern has sparked fears among Arsenal fans that they let a young talent leave the club too soon, with the 21-year-old set for success back in his homeland.
