Gigi Hadid stepped out last night with a wet look finger wave that’s perfect for just about any Halloween costume. Whether you’re dressing up as a ‘20s showgirl or a (beautiful) zombie, the wet hair look is a great way to transform long hair. The biggest plus, perhaps, is that the look is also good for your hair.
Gigi’s hairstylist, Jennifer Yepez, sculpted her locks into glossy finger waves using hydrating products. Wearing this style is basically like stepping out in a hair mask, without having to hide your face in greasy shame. “I used Honest Beauty Truly Restored leave in conditioner and Beyond Hydrated Moisture Milk and Condition and shine serum,” Yepez explained in an Instagram post. “To get the hold I used Oribe Grandiose mousse and R & Co. Viscous Hairspray.” Give yourself a deep side part and comb the shape of a finger wave above your ear, using pins to hold it in place before dousing with hairspray.
Gigi completed the look with a chrome winged eye from her go-to makeup artist, Patrick Ta. The look makes her eyes look sultry and, without the help of her usual face-framing hair, draws light to her face. Take a tip from today’s supermodel – this look is cool on Halloween, and every other day.
