The girl behind the costume, who goes by the name of Clairy, posted a picture of her outfit on Facebook. If you’re interested in making your own Sun Ho costume, Clairy described the process as taking about an hour or so with everything combined.

“Basically, for my mask I found a random picture of Sun Ho's face while she was performing the song and resized it such that it could fill an A4 sized piece of paper. I laminated it, then cut it out, along with holes for the eyes and mouth.”

“I bought the top from Carousell at $8. It's actually a chiffon cardigan. I just hiked it to my midriff, tied a knot in the middle with the ends and pinned the excess upwards.”

When asked why she decided to go with her unlikely costume, Clairy answered, “I think it's very uniquely Singaporean and in light of the whole CHC trial, Sun Ho has become somewhat a national icon. Her China Wine video stirred a lot of backlash for being unedifying as a Christian and was the centre of criticism by many. Thus I decided to harness its comical reputation and create some humour out of it.”
