Gisele Bündchen is teaming up with Balmain yet again.

The 43-year-old Brazilian supermodel fronts part two of the French fashion house's campaign for its rose garden-themed spring 2024 collection. In the images released on Monday, June 17, Bündchen dons two black structured ensembles adorned with gilded roses — a departure from the colorful campaign announced in February 2024.

Both black-and-white photos show the model holding Balmain's new Jolie Madame handbag, which according to a press release, reflects "the house's legendary mid-century silhouette." When posing with a Jolie Madama bag with a white quilted detail, Bündchen wears a black-and-white blazer with structured shoulders and a matching skirt, both adorned with gold rose-shaped buttons. In another image, the model dons a plunging black gown with a high slit and single gold rose detail at the waist.

The campaign, shot by Rafael Pavarotti, channels the trendy "office siren" aesthetic, which coincidentally (or perhaps not) was partially inspired by Bündchen's role in 2006 cult-classic film, The Devil Wears Prada.

In the press release, Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing references the film's much-quoted line (spoken in deadpan sarcasm by Meryl Streep as steely magazine editor Miranda Priestly) about "flowers for spring" being "ground-breaking."

"But even as we joked about it, we were determined to continue pulling out all the stops, as we wholeheartedly embraced the joy, femininity and exuberance of the rose, the fragrant bloom that always held such a special place in our founder’s many garden and couture designs," Rousteing says.

He later adds, "And, just to clinch the deal, knowing that Gisele had a role in The Devil Wears Prada was the perfect final touch needed to bring our whole florals-for-spring references full circle."

Bündchen was revealed as the face of Balmain's spring 2024 collection in February 2024 via a colorful and whimsical campaign.

In a press release shared at the time, the collection is described as embracing the “joy, femininity and exuberance” of the flower." For the campaign, also shot by  Pavarotti, Bündchen poses in a variety of bright and bold floral-themed looks, her golden brown hair splaying outward in bouncy, voluminous curls.

Bündchen is blooming in more ways than one lately.
