Glen Powell lands next lead movie role in erotic thriller
Glen Powell has been confirmed to be leading new erotic thriller movie, Homewreckers.
There has reportedly been a major bidding war for the project, with The Hollywood Reporter stating that multiple studios, including Lionsgate, New Regency, Legendary, Sony and Warner Bros, were in the running.
Legendary eventually secured the movie, with the package including a three-chapter story by writer and producer Neil M Paik.

Details of the plot are being kept under wraps, but it has been described as an erotic thriller with a sci-fi twist, with 9 1/2 Weeks, Ex Machina, and Fatal Attraction all cited as inspirations.

As one of Hollywood's most in-demand actors of the moment, Powell has several new projects in the pipeline.
Last month, filming began on the remake of '80s movie The Running Man, directed by Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz's Edgar Wright, with a cast that also includes Marvel star Josh Brolin, Juno's Michael Cera, Twisters' Katy O'Brian, William H Macy and Emilia Jones.

"The world that Edgar's developed on this thing is just outrageous," Powell said in an interview. "It's so good. And really, we're just both such big fans of the Stephen King book [the movie is based on], and it's going to be a great character. I'm so fired up about it."
He has also recently filmed Hulu sports comedy Chad Powers, which saw him undergo a major transformation.
Meanwhile, Powell has teased that he has a date locked in for filming Top Gun 3, but wouldn't share more than that. He is also due to star alongside Jenna Ortega in a currently untitled film by Star Trek director JJ Abrams.
