GnB Accelerator announces 6 Indonesian startups for its first batch

The chosen participants ranging from online marketplace for services to Uber-for-meeting-rooms platform

GnB Accelerator today announced the six Indonesian startups that have been chosen to participate in its three-month accelerator programme in Jakarta.

The chosen startups will have access to office space, seed-funding, and an access to mentorship from Indonesian entrepreneurs and global investors such as Joshua Kevin (Talenta), Jeff Quigley (Fenox VC), Diajeng Lestari (HijUp), Peter Browne (Intangible Communications), and Toshihisa Wanami (Lean Startup Japan LLC), among the few.

The programme will peak on a Demo Day event on August 19.

Of all the 350 applicants, the following companies have been chosen to participate in the programme:

Ahlijasa, an online marketplace for laundry and AC repair services.

KlikDaily, an on-demand service to buy home supplies such as water dispenser, mobile phone credits, and cooking gas.

LocalBrand, an end-to-end platform for multichannel e-commerce targetted at small and medium enterprises.

4Doctor, an online portal for doctors to connect with fellow practitioners and the pharmaceutical industry.

XWORK, an online marketplace and booking platform for meeting rooms.

HipCar, an app-based car rental and security system.

Led by Kentaro Hashimoto, GnB Accelerator is the result of a collaboration between Silicon Valley-based Fenox Venture Capital and Japanese IT firm Infocom Corporation.

The programme is currently opening application for its second batch on its official website, which will be closed by September 30.
