Golden throne: $5 million toilet stolen in the UK

Art thieves in the UK have stolen a -- wait for it -- $5 million golden toilet.

That's right.

The precious metal crapper was fully functional when it was put on display at Britain's Blenheim Palace for an art exhibit.

Dubbed "America" by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan, it was on display at New York's Guggenheim Museum two years ago.

Its removal caused extensive flooding. It's said to have been stolen some time before 5 a.m. on Saturday (September 14).

One man has been arrested in connection with the theft but the toilet's whereabouts are unknown.

Back in New York over 100,000 visitors were able to use it.
