Grace Chan happy for Winki Lai and baby
14 Dec – Grace Chan recently admitted that she is elated about the birth of Winki Lai's baby, especially since the actress is the first among her celebrity good friends who has become a mother.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who spoke about the baby during her appearance at a store launch on 8 December, shared that Winki has recently been discharged from the hospital and is now recuperating at home with her baby.
When mentioned about the photo of her and boyfriend Kevin Cheng holding the baby that attracted fans' attention earlier, Grace said, "The baby weighs six pounds. They taught me how to hold him. After holding him a while, I gave him to Kevin and stood on the side. When I saw the photo, I did think it looked so sweet."
As to reports that Winki was in pain for 36 hours before giving birth, Grace shared, "That shows how great the love of a mother is. I also hope to give birth naturally when I have a child in the future."
When asked if she and Kevin are planning to tie the knot soon, Grace said that they have no plans to do so for now.
"I hope we can take the relationship step by step," she added.
