Guy Pearce takes lead in 'Andorra'
Australian actor Guy Pearce will take on the role previously assigned to Clive Owen in upcoming romantic thriller "Andorra," with Owen moving to a supporting role.
Vanessa Redgrave has also been added to the cast, notes The Hollywood Reporter.
Pearce will play Alexander Fox, an American bookseller who moves to Andorra to start a new life after a personal tragedy. Owen, who chose to give up the role of Fox for scheduling reasons, will now take the role of Mr. Dent, who shares a secret with his wife, played by Toni Collette.
Gillian Anderson is also on board for the movie, which is an adaptation of Peter Cameron's 1997 novel of the same name.
The film will be directed by Australian Fred Schepisi.
