Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza to open May 18

The complex in the Balearic Islands will be the first Hard Rock Hotel in Europe. Even before its grand opening, the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza boasts the distinction of being the party destination's largest five-star hotel.

Located on the Playa d'en Bossa, the luxury hotel will include 493 rooms. Private pools and oceanfront balconies are among the high-end amenities awaiting vacationers.

Suites of up to 165m², including some with outdoor Jacuzzi pools on their 32m² patios, will be available for some of the hotel's more affluent clients. VIP services, including access to some of Ibiza's most exclusive clubs and restaurants, will also be offered.

Weekly concerts and shows will ensure the hotel's rock ‘n' roll atmosphere. The hotel has even thought of families, and a daycare center will be available for parents who want to take full advantage of the facilities, including the two large swimming pools.

Naturally, the hotel will also aim to live up to Ibiza's reputation as an island for clubgoers, hosting frequent late-night events. Foodies will appreciate the hotel's numerous eateries, including a gourmet restaurant headed up by two-Michelin-starred chef Paco Roncero.

Pricing for the rooms will be announced on April 22 at the official presentation of the hotel at the Hard Rock Café in Paris.

There are currently 19 other Hard Rock Hotels worldwide, most of which are located in the US. The hotel group also has outposts in Mexico and in several Asian countries including Indonesia (Bali) and Thailand (Pattaya).
