Looks like there was a magical surprise for Harry Potter fans as HBO Max officially launched today.

The new HBO streaming service, which finally became public on May 27, already had a lot of big names attached to it, including the entire Doctor Who collection, all the episodes of Friends, and even the Studio Ghibli library. However, Harry Potter fans were surprised to see all the films available as well.

HBO Max subscribers can now have the ultimate Harry Potter movie marathon as the original eight movies are available to stream on the service. In case you were probably expecting to have to go on a long search to find them as soon as you logged into the new streamer, HBO Max made it super easy to find the films with a special section on the main page of the site.

For fans of the Fantastic Beasts series, only the sequel, Fantastic Beasts and the Crimes of Grindelwald, is currently available from the original HBO library. There's no word if HBO Max expects to add the entire Fantastic Beasts collection to HBO Max, but with all the original Harry Potter movies on there, it wouldn't be too surprising to see it make the big move as well.

Certain cable and current HBO Now subscribers already have the chance to check out HBO Max at no extra cost. New users will have to pay $14.99 a month to access the brand new service.

So grab all your family members and FaceTime all your friends, because you'll definitely want to binge watch all the movies over and over again.
