Harry Potter Star Rupert Grint Says Ron And Hermione Probably Divorced

It looks as though ‘Harry Potter’ star Rupert Grint thinks that Ron and Hermione might not have lived happily ever after.

During an interview with The Huffington Post, the 27-year-old ‘Harry Potter’ actor revealed what he thinks happened to the young couple… Maybe they weren’t a perfect match after all.

“I would expect Ron has probably divorced Hermione already,” he explained. “I don’t think that relationship would have done very well.”

Of course, the young friends first met in ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’… and had a ‘will-they, won’t-they’ romance throughout the entire ‘Harry Potter’ series.

Even if they were slightly oblivious to it themselves.

But while the love-struck couple finally kissed in ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2’, Ron Weasley himself thinks it never would have lasted.

“He’s living on his own, in a little one-bedroom apartment,” Grint explained. “He hasn’t got a job.”

But it might not be so bad… at least not if his pals have anything to do with it.

“Neville works at the school, right?” said Neville Longbottom actor, Matthew Lewis. “So he’s a professor, just enjoying that. Maybe he’s trying to get Ron a job, man. And he keeps throwing it back in his face, like, ‘I don’t need your help, Neville; Jesus, just leave it.’ And I’m like, ‘Come on, it’s fine, we’ll sort it out, just trying to get you back into the fold’.”

“Yeah, him and Hermione don’t see eye to eye because I’ve taken Ron’s side in the relationship,” he added. “They’ve got everyone split off, friends-wise. I don’t know who you guys chose? Did you choose Hermione?”

Unfortunately, it looks as though Hermione would have lost the most friends, with Evanna Lynch (who played Luna Lovegood) and Katie Leung (who played Cho Chang) giving Ron their full support.

“I think Ron would need more help,” said Lynch. “Hermione would handle herself better.”

“Yeah, he’s in a bad way", Grint added.

But good old Neville continued to reassure his pal.

“I’ll get you in as the caretaker of the school, man,” said Lewis. “We’ll sort it out. Don’t worry about it.”

“Just get me out there,” replied Grint. “Just get me out of the house.”

“And we’ll get you back together,” said Lynch.

Let’s just hope it never comes to that.
