Chandigarh, Aug 18 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar felicitated star Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra in Chandigarh on August 18. Neeraj Chopra became the first Indian to win gold in Athletics at the Olympics. Earlier, the Haryana government had announced a cash reward of Rs six crore and a class I category job to Neeraj Chopra. Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra said, “I'll think about this (head a centre of excellence to groom athletes for the Olympics in Haryana). I will try my best to promote sports in the country. Right now, my target is to bring a medal in the world championship next year.”
