KUALA LUMPUR: MIC president and Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S Subramanian has made his digital mark by unveiling his very own Android app, designed to allow members of the public access to him via their mobile devices.
The official app, 'Dr Subra', provides up-to-date information about his activities in the Segamat constituency and the Ministry of Health, and is set to bridge the gap between the people and the government.
An aide to Dr Subramanian said the app is slated for its soft launch today, in conjunction with Chittirai and Vishu as well as Vaisakhi, which are New Year events celebrated by the Tamil, Malayali and Sikh communities respectively.
App users can also send a message to Dr Subramanian using the app.
Contents of the app are available in Tamil, English and Malay.
The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and will be available on iOS soon.
