Second opinion is the term that explains the diagnosis retrieved from a second health practitioner based on the medical report provided by the previous doctor. This is usually done to further confirm the diagnosis of patient’s illness to prevent malpractice.

The feature works by allowing patients to use technology to show their medical records to the health practitioners to get the second opinion and eliminate the needs to travel abroad and spend more money just to visit doctors and hospitals that the patients believe to be more credible, which often is the case with Indonesian patients.

“We develop the feature for the public to get the second opinion more effectively with more time and budget efficiency as opposed to going abroad to get second opinions,” said Marketing Supervisor of HubSehat Evry Zony.
