Heavy Rain Batters Eastern Tennessee

A flood warning was in place for parts of east Tennessee as a storm brought heavy rain to the region on August 21.

The National Weather Service said flooding was likely in Knoxville, Maryville, Sevierville, Alcoa, Dandridge, Pigeon Forge, Louisville, Rockford, Eagleton Village, Greenback, Townsend, Walland, Seymour, Wildwood, Kimberlin Heights, McMahan, Kodak, Happy Valley, Clover Hill and Harrisburg.
