Heinz launches Cream of Beanz soup for Halloween and it glows in the dark
In a throughly horrifying announcement, Heinz has revealed it has created a hybrid of the brand's iconic baked beans and its classic tomato soup.
Cream of Beanz Tomato soup is described as: "The rich tomatoey taste of the classic Cream of Tomato Soup, and brimming with delicious Beanz."
And we don't know how to feel.
The questionable recipe is actually inspired by one of Heinz’s original soup recipes, Cream of Bean. Its limited edition launch is in honour of the brand's 110th birthday in the UK, and only 110 cans have been made.
Calling the hybrid a "Monster Mash-up", the brand has embraced the scary sound of the combination; not only by releasing in time for Halloween, but also by making the cans glow in the dark.
Anke von Hanstein, Brand Manager for Heinz Soups said in the press release: "Heinz Soup and Beanz fans are in for a treat with the launch of our devilishly delicious Heinz Cream of Beanz Tomato Soup, just in time for Halloween.
"A perfect balance of soup to beans, we’re hoping our monster mash-up of these two Heinz icons brings a real chill to the bone and a thrill to the tastebuds, as we celebrate 110 fang-tastic years of Heinz Soups here in the UK."
