High Winds Lash Cozumel, Mexico, During Storm Zeta

Storm Zeta, the 27th named Atlantic storm of the season, brought strong winds and heavy rain to the Mexican coast after making landfall as a Category 1 hurricane on October 26.

Quintana Roo Governor Carlos Joaquín said the hurricane had weakened to a tropical storm by October 27, with maximum sustained wind speeds of 68 miles per hour.
