Highlights at the National Museum of Singapore this June school holidays

Children Season Singapore returns this year with a slew of activities from 27 May to 25 June, which include exhibitions at the National Museum of Singapore. The National Heritage Board (NHB) on Thursday (25 May) revealed two exhibitions devoted to nostalgic places in Singapore. "Our Favourite Places" allows the young to explore the country through its "Trolley Bus & Trishaw Trails" and "Bumboat Trails" exhibits. Let the kids doodle on a gigantic canvas called 'The Giant' while exploring the concept of size and proportion. Jump and roam free at the bouncy bumboat installation, which will only be available at specific times. So be sure to check the timings before getting on board. Last but not least, relax and crawl into 'The Soft Dome' to get a unique perspective of the National Museum's iconic stained glass dome. Children and adults are all welcomed, but make sure to wear socks if you want to climb in. It's not just museums at this year's Children's Season Singapore, with over 120 activities and 29 partners to choose from. Go on an adventure at Wildlife Reserves Singapore's overnight Camp Fest, or take part in variety of workshops - such as toy making, building stilt houses and food science experiments.
