Hins Cheung emerges 2018's big winner in music
18 Jan – With the final major music awards show of 2018 completed, it is now official - Hins Cheung is Hong Kong music industry's big winner for the year 2018.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who recently completed his winning streak at the JSG Awards Presentation, brought home five accolades including Most Popular Male Singer and Best Song for "Centennial Tree".
His two other songs, "Lacking" and "Genius Children 1985" were also ranked in the Gold Song list, while "5 Make a Beat" - his collaboration with Joey Yung, won Best Advertising Song.
With that, Hins has now won more than 15 awards in total - including four accolades at the Ultimate Song Charts Awards, three at the Chinese Gold Song Awards, and three at the Metro Radio Hit Awards.
Expressing his thoughts on becoming the big winner of 2018, Hins wrote online, "The ceremony has now ended, everything now returns to zero, and all the glory, applause, and praise are attributed to God. I hope that 2019 will continue to be [a good year]."
