PUTRAJAYA: French President François Hollande has arrived at the Perdana Putra Complex for his meetings with the Malaysian delegate led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Hollande, who is on a state visit to Malaysia since yesterday, arrived here at 11.30am.
His visit was the second presidential-level visit from France to Malaysia after President Jacques Chirac's state visit in July 2003.
The visit also coincides with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and France.
Both leaders are scheduled to witness the signing of the two agreements here, after which Hollande will proceed to the Royal Malaysian Air Force base in Subang to witness a static demonstration of the newly-arrived French-made Airbus A400M transporter aircraft.
Hollande will also have an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V in the evening, followed by a state banquet.
